How You Can Donate
The ‘Aha Pūnana Leo, Inc is a private 501(c)(3) chartered in April 1983 in the State of Hawai‘i for the purpose of revitalizing the Hawaiian language. Today, all founding members of the ‘Aha Pūnana Leo remain involved with the never-wavering goal of restoring Hawaiian as a living language in its native land.
All contributions to the organization are deductible under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations for charitable contributions. The contributions go directly to support our programs including, but not limited to, our Pūnana Leo Hawaiian language nest preschools and follow-up schools as well as educational media production.
All contributions will be acknowledged with a receipt based on IRS guidelines.
