"Kōkua ‘ia kākou e kēia kālā a ho‘iho‘i ‘ia ma o kā kākou hana kaiaulu.  Pālua ‘ia ka pōmaika‘i ma ka ‘ao‘ao o ka moho no ka mea, ma o ka hana ‘ana ma nā Pūnana Leo, nā kula kaiapuni a nā wahi like ‘ole e kāko‘o ai i ka ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i."

“We are supported with this scholarship, and the scholarship is returned back to the community via community service. The blessing is doubled for the recipient because of working at the Pūnana Leo preschools, Hawaiian language immersion schools, and other entities in support of the Hawaiian language.”
