Responsible for working with employees and families to provide a rigorous and stimulating Hawaiian Medium education. Requires a familiarity with the Hawaiian language, previous office experience and the ability to work well with others, Two years experience working in a Hawaiian Medium Education setting preferred.

KUMU ALAKAʻI
Lead Teacher
Pūnana Leo o Koʻolau Loa, Oʻahu
Responsible for executing, coordinating and maintaining a rigorous and stimulating Pūnana Leo educational program for families and children. Requires a Bachelors degree, 3 years college level Hawaiian language, 12 credits of Early Childhood Education, and two years experience working with children.

KĀKOʻO KUMU
Teacher Aide
Pūnana Leo o Kona, Kealakekua, Hawaiʻi
Pūnana Leo o Koʻolau Loa, Oʻahu
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Pūnana Leo educational program by working with families and staff. Requires a familiarity of Hawaiian Language.

PANI HAKAHAKA
Preschool Substitutes
Pūnana Leo Preschools Statewide
Provides classroom support for teaching staff as needed. Requires a familiarity with the Hawaiian language.
